Harlan Brand made a disgruntled face, which he immediately turned on Radu. “A little warning would have been nice,” he said. “Then we could have locked you up somewhere.”
“You act like this was my idea,” Radu hissed back. “It’s not like I can control what my biology does when exposed to say, strange plants. Anyway, you didn’t exactly protest, now did you?”
“Because you Andromidans produce weird pheromones and stuff!”
Radu sighed and ran his tongue over his teeth before saying, very calmly, “Harlan…”
“Don’t wanna hear it. Don’t care. Get lost.”
“It’s my bunk room too, you know.”
“Something that, believe me, is going to change.”
