Title: Just Another Day
Author:

Fandom: Runaways
Table/Prompt: Table 1/94. Old
Character/Pairing: Klara
Rating: G
Word Count:
Summary: Klara’s ongoing disinterest in her own birthday.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing.
Klara didn’t say a word about it to anyone. Despite last year’s celebration, the day held little significance to her; just another day to get through. In her old life, she might have gotten herself a new pair of shoes, or perhaps a nearly new frock.
But here, in this time, to her friends, a birthday was a big deal.
Klara did not want them to make a big deal out of her birthdays, because as always, it should have just been another day. Honestly, Klara had been surprised that the others had even remembered her birthday, after all the things that had happened. Yet there they had been, with their presents and too-sweet cake and all their noise. Someone -- probably Chase -- had loaded the cake down with so many candles that she could barely see the icing.
