“This is the worst plan ever,” Victor told Megan as the Welsh girl bounced up and down on the heart shaped bed, sending satin covered pillows flying. “Why did I agree to this?”
“Because Mr. Summers said that the X-Men needed our specific skill sets on this mission,” Megan reminded him, not for the first time. She giggled, landing amongst the rumpled sheets.
“The groping was unnecessary,” Victor grumbled, switching off his image inducer.
“They have to believe we’re newlyweds, or they’d get suspicious and stuff. Relax, already, or you’re gonna give yourself an ulcer.”
