Teddy squirmed in the back seat, blinking his way back into wakefulness. He wasn’t sure when he’d fallen asleep while they’d been driving out of the city. “Mwhah?”
His mother smiled, smoothing Teddy’s hair back. “The observatory, remember?” She helped Teddy out of the car and tilted her head back to look at the night sky. “It’s the perfect night for star gazing.”
“Yeah, Mom,” Teddy agreed sleepily, letting her lead him inside as he rubbed his eyes with a tiny fist.
