Summary: A little Mumm-Ra centric drabble.
Mumm-Ra stared at the cracks on the inside of his sarcophagus. Despite there being no light, he could see them perfectly. He had them memorized from long centuries of studying them. He’d made some of them himself during random fits of boredom.
Once, he’d written a poem into the stone, slowly gouging away at the limestone with his fingernails. It had long since worn away to illegibility, buried under newer scratches and cracks. His movements were the only sounds within the tomb.
The rest was the patient silence of the dead, waiting for him to finally join them.
He was so bored.
