Summary: You’d have to be blind not to notice who was clocking in the most time in the Danger Room.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing.
A person would have had to been blind not to notice who was making the most constant use of the Danger Room, and what scenarios they were running. Logan said it was good that they had a reason to train, to get better, but if left cooler heads worried. There were so few mutants left, and being divided like this would only make it easier for their enemies to finally destroy them.
Illyana’s apparent delight in the strife she was causing didn’t help anything.
Worst of all was that the rift between the younger groups of X-Men was creeping into the older ones. Emma made it clear that she sided with the children, and would be perfectly happy to never hear of Illyana Rasputin again, and there could be no doubt as to Piotr’s allegiance. Most claimed neutrality, but few actually meant it. Lines were being drawn in the proverbial sand.
And all the while, the children trained.
