Walter turned to watch the retreating bundle of coats and scarves, then turned a sardonic little smirk on Jean-Paul. “So, that’s the young man you’ve been telling us about?” he asked.
“Victor is not fond of cold weather,” Jean-Paul said, watching the snowflakes come down.
“He’s got a very nice voice,” Walter said, the smile staying exactly where it was. Jean-Paul sniffed and strolled into the base after Victor.
