“This is a mistake,” Terry said breathlessly, as Patrick pushed him to the floor, straddling his thighs. Patrick was still wearing most of the Scarlet Spider uniform, though the mask was off, and Terry was looking into the face of someone who he had helped kill. He reached up, running his fingers through Patrick’s hair, pulling his mouth down. “You shouldn’t have followed me.”

“Come back with me,” Patrick said, a hint of desperation in his face. “We can help you fight Nightmare.” He fumbled with the buttons on Terry’s shirt. “We could-”

Terry cut him off with another kiss, coaxing Patrick to respond in kind. “I need time,” he mumbled against Patrick’s mouth. “I need-” His fingers scrabbled across the Scarlet Spider uniform. “Christ, how the hell do you get out of this thing?”

Patrick grinned. “Thought this was a mistake?” he asked, teasingly.

“Oh, shut up.”
