He missed being able to hug his mother.
It was stupid and it made him feel like he was five years old and being sent off to kindergarten and just wanting to run home and stay with Mommy.
The first thing Terry did, after leaving the Initiative, was go for her. He knew it was stupid, and it would be so obvious, but apparently Taskmaster was perfectly happy to see the back of him, and Osborn couldn’t be bothered to send someone after him yet. He didn’t stay long, and if she even knew he was there, she didn’t show it.
He knew the truth now. The cult, that guy, his parents.
He wondered if Dad had always known the truth. If that was why he’d been so eager to see Terry gone.
“I’m gonna help you,” Terry told his mother. “Just as soon as I know how.”
