There was something about the broken mask that felt so wrong to Urahara. Holding it in his hands made something twist horribly in his gut. It shouldn’t be, and he knew it with every fiber of his being.
And like so many things, this was all his fault. He wondered if this would be another disaster, one more sin added to his soul. But Ichigo was needed now, to fix a much larger mistake of his.
Besides, it would be fascinating to see how this worked out.
