1. wild west: Billy/Teddy (I will love you forever if they meet the Raw Hide Kid)
(Sadly, I don't know enough about the Raw Hide Kid to use him)
"You confuse the living hell out of me," Theodore informed Strikes-With-Lightning.
"So people keep telling me."
"You're white. You're from New York."
"Yes, and yes. And then my parents decided to head west, got killed, and the natives were nice enough to not kill me on sight, and they raised me as one of their own."
"Uh-huh."
2. cyberpunk: Eli/Nate (Iron Lad)
"I'm gonna use a can opener on you," Eli warned. "Then we'll see how tough you are."
"I'd like to see you try," Nate laughed. "You'd have to catch me first!"
"You have to sleep some time, robo-boy."
4. pirates: Kate Bishop
There was a long moment of silence before Elijah said, "Did you just become the Dread Pirate Roberts?"
Kate looked thoughtfully around her, the nodded.
5. ...in SPACE!!: Chase Stien/Victor Mancha
Chase let out a whoop of triumph, dancing around the interior of the Leapfrog. "Told you!" He said, waggling a finger at Victor. "I TOLD you he could break atmospher!"
8. urban fantasy: Anole ('And I thought Unicorns were rare.')
Victor balanced precariously atop the unicorn's back, glaring sourly at Santo. "One word, and I'll have them run you through," he warned. "They like me. They can do that."
"Didn't say anything," Santo said, trying very, very hard not to laugh.
9. harem: Teddy Altman/Billy/Anole/Hellion/Speed/Chase Stien/Victor Mancha
"His Imperial Doucheness is looking smug today," Julian noted, sotto voce, to Victor.
"Don't call him that," Victor hissed back.
"You're just saying that because you're his favorite. Well, you and Billy."
"Shut. Up. Julian."
"Viva le revolution!" Chase said, dropping down between Julian and Victor.
"We're not having a revolution," Victor groaned.
"He just says that because he's a favorite," Julian pointed out again, and Chase nodded in agreement.
10. pick your poison: What if Hulklings' father was Bruce Banner and Billy's father was Thor?
"You wanna trade?" Teddy asked. "I think my dad would like you better... most of the time, anyway."
Billy made a thoughtful noise, looking up to follow the battle raging between the green goliath that was Teddy's father, and the mighty thunder god that was his own. "Yeah," he agreed slowly. "But then Mom might take an interest, and nobody wants that."
"Sif? But she's, y'know, cool."
Billy looked away, then shook his head. "Sif has been good to me, but she's not my mother." He looked back at Teddy with a pained expression. "That would be Loki."
