Summary: Mountains rise and fall, but some things never change.

Athena looked at the rumpled, dirty, patched up army jacket balled up at the end of her couch, under the head of Amadeus Cho. Her eyes wandered over the sleeping boy’s form. The rest of his clothes were as rumpled and worn as his jacket, and his shaggy black hair looked long overdue for a cutting. It had reached the point between long and short that just looked like a complete mess.
He was the quintessential scruffy teenage boy. He even smelled a little.
This was just one of those things that never changed. Time marched on, the world changed, and there would always been scruffy teenage boys who slept in their clothes and smelled a little and had uncontrollable hair. Gods would rise and fall, mountains would crumble, and this would stay the same.
It gave the goddess a strange sense of comfort.
