From his window, Nick watched the lone, black clad X-Man slouch his way across the lawn, a little blaze of fire trailing behind him for a few moments before he wrapped the his ever present scarf around the hole where his face should have been. Nick watched him go and looked down at his hairy, clawed hands.

He’d been sort-of following Chamber around since the telepath had come back from where ever he’d gone to, trying to find some excuse to talk to him… even though he wasn’t really sure what he WOULD say when they finally spoke.

Thanks for saving my life, and by the way, I’m really, really sorry that I called you a monster and stuff.

Yeah, that would go over real well.
