Mary Jane stood in the middle of the living room, watching her son crawl across the ceiling, gleeful and oblivious to his mother’s rising anger. She took her eyes off Ben just long enough to glare at both her husband and her daughter. “So, when were you two going to tell me he could do this?”
Peter kept his eyes on the ceiling and Ben while May inspected her boots like her life depended on it.
Mary Jane made a disgusted noise. “Peter, I want him checked out by someone who might be able to tell us what’s going on. Call whoever you have to. May, you’re watching him until then. You are not to leave this house. Am I understood?”
“Yes’m,” the two Parkers said as one.
