“Don’t you think you were a little rough on her?” Jake asked, watching out the window as Spider-Girl swung away.
The question was met with a sullen silence from Franklin.
“Okay, whatever. Brood on while you chase everyone away.” Jake waved a hand airily in Franklin’s direction, something which took some doing, considering his sheer bulk. “I’m sure that’ll work out great.”
“Is there a point here, Jake?” Franklin asked icily, his voice mildly distorted by his mask.
“Only that you’re pulling the same stuff on her that you just accused her of. Everyone’s got their own drama, their tragedies. I bet you don’t even know what’s going on with her.”
