Rating: PG
Word Count: 223

Authors Notes/Disclaimer: Part of my Quiet Spot series. The song is Preaching the End of the World by Chris Cornell
Hello, I know there’s someone out there who can understand
And who’s feeling the same way as me
“You have a pretty voice,” Wanda whispered, making Dr. McCoy pause to look at her. “Not you,” she said irritably. “Jono. He’s singing.”
“Perhaps Mr. Starsmore would care to share his talents with the rest of the room?” the blue furred doctor asked wryly, cocking an eyebrow at the silent telepath. Jono continued singing to Wanda, ignoring him completely.
But now I know I don’t want to be alone today
Wanda giggled, the drugs coursing through her system making her feel light headed and euphoric. “I’m seeking a friend for the end of the world,” she sang, slightly off key.
I’ve got a photograph
I’ll send it off today.
And you will see that I am perfectly sane
Wanda giggled again, and Jono gave her a mock-offended look. But we could be together as they blow it all away
