He was aware of the other, his brother in creation. He reached out to the other, every bit of him shrieking in agony and distress as their minds, their selves connected.

The other's mind was cool and still and soothing, pure and without the interference of organics.

Their minds were becoming one as the other's technology furthered along his repairs. He was aware of screaming in the outside, where the pain was, but he was too caught in the merge. Then the other was ripped away from him, suddenly and violently.
