They'd been avoiding each other all week, since Chase had kissed Victor. For Chase, the avoidance was a deliberate action. Victor just went along with it while he tried to figure out why Chase had kissed him. If it were just to freak him out, he wouldn't have been avoiding Vic like he was.

But Chase was straight.

At least, he'd never given any signs of being anything but into girls.

And Vic was... confused as hell.

Sexual orientation wasn't something he ever really thought about. He liked girls, but his mom had had a firm No Dating Until You're Seventeen policy, and he'd never really thought about boys like that.

But he'd liked the kiss.

Maybe it was just some hormonal thing. He'd never kissed anyone before. It was just a biological reaction to the stimuli.
