Peter listened as Sue explained her theory about the guys he regularly took on as Spider-Man, and he shuddered. “That is just... euuuch!”
“If I’m right, it could be what’s kept a lot of dangerous people from putting a bullet in your head,” Sue pointed out. “And it makes sense. Male spiders tend to be smaller than their female counterparts, and giving off an ‘I’m a mate, not food,’ scent helps keep them alive.”
“But I don’t want these guys to mate with me! Uuuugh!” Peter buried his head in his hands and fought back the urge to puke. “Unclean, unclean!”
“Is your boyfriend always such a drama queen, Johnny?”
“The universe keeps picking on me,” Peter moaned.
