“It would be an excellent opportunity for you to connect with your people,” Xavin admitted with a touch of reluctance as she and Karolina watched the news broadcast on the other side of the store window.
Karolina sighed softly, her hand resting on the window. “Yeah, I know. And I wanna actually help them.”
“Then it is decided. We shall go and offer our aid to these refugees. If they should decide to reject it, then it is their loss, and…” She hesitated. “No skin off our noses?”
Karolina grinned. “Got it in one.”
