Summary: One man’s hero is another man’s villain.

When Xavin expressed an interest in learning more about human culture, Chase pointed her to the internet. The young Super-Skrull-in-training spent three days doing nothing but following links from her first search, much to everyone’s amusement. On the fourth day, she discovered a web site devoted to alien sightings, which lead her to another site that catalogued known and suspected Skrulls, which then lead Xavin to a site detailing ‘the atrocities of the Super-Skrull’.
Xavin was on that site for an hour before she destroyed the computer.
“Kl’rt is a hero, and they treat him like a monster!” the Skrull snarled, kicking the flaming remains of the monitor across the room. “How dare these impudent-”
“Xavin, honey, if you don’t calm down, I’m going to get Molly, and you won’t like what she’ll do about the computer,” Karolina said levelly.
Xavin growled, but obediently stopped herself from doing further damage. “It’s not right.”
“To you,” Karolina pointed out calmly. “To us, the Super-Skrull is an invader and a terrorist. It’s all a matter of perspective.”
