Angelo leaned over Jono’s shoulder, trying to peer at the notebook that the Brit snapped closed. Jono turned his head to glare at Angelo, sliding the notebook inside his jacket.
“Aw, c’mon. Lemme see.”
It’s not finished, Jono growled, shoulders hunched.
“Neither is half the stuff you let me see,” Angelo reminded him. “Even the stuff about Paige,” he added teasingly. “So why won’t you let me see?”
Jono surged to his feet, stalking away like an angry cat. Angelp watched him go, head cocked to one side as he wondered what the hell had crawled up the telepath’s ass this time.
