Alani wriggled away as Mark tried to get her hands under his shirt. “Not in here!” she hissed.
“What?” Mark groaned. “It’s not like anyone comes in here.”
“It’s a church, Mark! I’m not making out with you in a church!”
“Just a chapel,” Mark countered. Alani grabbed his hands and pushed them away forcefully. “Come on, Alani, don’t get your panties in a bunch.”
“I said no,” Alani said, kicking Mark in the shin and storming out. Mark yelped and bent down to rub his injured limb, feeling very put out.
“Christ, I thought she was supposed to be easy going,” he grumbled.
“Perhaps,” Mr. Wagner suggested from his shadowy corner, “you should have listened to her the first time she told you ‘no’?” The blue furred mutant chuckled as Mark fled the sanctuary, all the blood draining from his face.
