fullmetal_cute
Fandom: X-Men
Table/Prompt: Table 3/23. Flight
Character/Pairing: Julian Keller
Rating: PG
Word Count: 200
Summary: Julian’s got the best view in the whole neighborhood.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I don’t own anything.
This, Julian Keller thought as he hovered high above his home, must be what being a god feels like.
He let out a whoop and beat his chest, then found himself suddenly dropping like a stone.
“Oh shit!”
Julian closed his eyes and focused – or at least, tried to focus – on pushing himself away from the ground. Moments before impact, he bounced back up into the air, going even higher than he had been before. He could just barely see people below, scurrying around like the ants they resembled from so high up, moving in and out of the palatial homes that looked like doll houses from this view.
Julian started laughing, but there was a slightly hysterical edge to it.
“Okay,” he said to himself. “Okay. I’ve mastered ‘Up’. Now lets see if I can do ‘Down’ without becoming a gooey smear on the patio.”
