Dexter checked his tie in the mirror, then his teeth. “Why am I doing this?” he called.
“Because you couldn’t get a date to save your life and my school is all girls so we don’t have proms, and I wanna go to one,” Ray-Ray explained, shouting to be heard through the bathroom door.
“Well, if you don’t hurry, we’re not gonna make the prom. Aren’t you supposed to be a speedster?”
“Good things take time,” Ray-ray called. The door swung open, and Ray-ray swept out, draping a silver spangled shawl around her shoulders. “Okay, lets show these jackasses at your school how cool you are.”
“Holy shit, you have cleavage,” Dexter said, blinking. “Where’d that come from?”
“Don’t be an ass, Dex. I can slap you at super speed, strip you, and tie you to the flag poll before you can blink.”
