Nura Nal knew she was in love with Querl Dox the moment he admitted the universe was more unpredictable than he liked to admit. She also decided then and there that she had to step up her efforts to get him to loosen up. Too much time spent focusing on his toys would drive him mad. He needed to relax, to get out more.
She didn't try to look into their future. There was no quicker way to end a relationship than to predict what would happen in it.
