Laura popped a single claw, staring at her reflection. She leaned forward, carefully inspecting her image before bringing the claw up to slide along her skin. She managed not to nick herself for once, and she smiled at her reflection.
The small, coarse hairs that had coated her upper lip now rested in the sink, and a quick turn of the faucet washed them away.
