There were times when Hinata wondered why she turned off her Byakugan. Being able to see all around her certainly would have prevented her from being surprise-hugged by Kiba. Of course, if she’d been paying attention, she could have spotted her teammate by smell alone.
Kiba had been playing in the landfill again.
Akamaru yipped and licked Hinata’s cheek.
“Ah! Kiba-kun!” she protested as the boy swung her around, laughing.
