Prompt: 53. Daughter

Summary: Their little girl came home with some interesting additions.
Author's Notes: Part of my That Damn Mpreg universe.
Sooraya found herself staring at her daughter while her mind tried to process what she was seeing. Raia arched a pierced eyebrow, her hands on her hips, clearly waiting for some kind of commentary.
“Why… where-?”
“New York,” Raia said blithely. “Took me an’ Angel hours to find a place where a woman could do mah ink.” She stretched her arms above her head, showing off the flowers tattooed on her belly. “So?”
“It’s very… colorful,” Sooraya said slowly, her eyes narrowing. “Stick out your tongue.”
Raia’s smile was impish as she flashed her tongue stud at her mother, eliciting a surprised gasp. “Raia!”
From downstairs, Jay yelled, “What did she do this time?”
“Tattoos! And there’s a bolt through her tongue!” Sooraya called back.
“Raia, it’s not nice to do things so your mother makes faces!”
“Ah didn’t do it so she’d make faces!” Raia paused, considering. “Well, mostly. I just thought they were pretty. And anyways, it’s MY body!”
“Grounded!” Jay called, still not coming upstairs.
“But Daaaaaaaaaaddy!”
“The man who marries you,” Sooraya murmured as Raia slipped her abaya back on, “is going to be in for a very great surprise.”
