Talon let out a shriek of rage as Shriek’s bony fingers wrapped around her fiery tresses, which the skeletal creature pulled. The princess retaliated by getting ahold of Shriek’s own dark, brittle hair before flying up over the battlefield.
There was a ghastly ripping sound as what was left of Shriek’s desiccated scalp came free from her skull. The Skeleton Warrior flailed at Talon’s hands, releasing her grip on the woman’s hair… which she only realized a moment too late was all that was keeping her in the air once her scalp had torn free.
Shriek fell to the ground, her bones scattering every which way while Talon waved her hair like a banner, laughing triumphantly.
