Summary: Nura doesn’t believe in choice.
Nura Nal didn’t actually believe in choice. She believed in predestination. All precogs of any decent power level did.
After all, she had seen the future.
It was comforting, in a away, to know how things would happen. You just had to go along, and it would all work out.
Then there was The Vision (she always thought of it with the capital T, capital V), and with it came the knowledge that Naltor and her people were doomed.
There was no hope. She had seen, and so it was as good as happened.
But Brainiac 5 had spoken of choice. Of someone deciding to change the path that lay before them.
It was a strange thing for Nura, to hope.
