The two Southerners sat together on the roof of the school, watching the Cajun bane of their existence toss cards at Wolverine in a training exercise.
“Maybe you should kiss him,” Sam suggested, “and not let him go till he stops moving.”
Rogue made a face. “Then I’d have the swamp rat stuck in my head. Yeuch.”
“Maybe we could drop him from really high up?”
“He’d probably land on his feet. He’s like a damn cat.”
“Greebo,” Sam agreed, and the two shared a quick smile.
“Maybe next time he corners you, you should neuter him,” Rogue suggested, a wicked glint in her eye. Sam laughed, and she giggled.
“Maybe we should lock him in a closet with X-23.”
“Now that’s just mean.”
