Sam Guthrie let out a little sigh as the cry echoed through the house, and he ignored Ray and Bobby’s snickers as Paige and Josh pounced on him. “Guys! C’mon, leggo… Melody, don’t tease Rahne, she’s my teammate, not a dog!”
Jubilee looked around the house, shouldering her bag. “Where do you all sleep?” she asked.
“We bunk up,” Sam said with a little shrug, trying to dislodge his younger siblings. Jubilee shot him a look of utter horror. “You’ll be sharing with my sisters.”
Paige almost immediately switched from Sam to Jubilee, dragging the girl off to the room she shared with her sisters.
“Where are we sleeping?” Bobby asked.
Sam just smiled and tried to shake Josh loose.
