Sometimes, it seemed to Hinata that talking to Gaara was like talking to a brick wall. She would talk and talk, and he would sit there and stare at her. It was more than a little unnerving. And when she was unnerved, Hinata talked more, until she ran out of things to say.
Only then would there be silence, until Hinata would retreat, wondering when the conversation had turned into a battle, and why she had lost.
