A cold finger pressed into the middle of Victor's back, brining him to full wakefulness. He yelped and rolled over to glare sleepily at Molly. "You gotta stop doing this, amiga."
Molly's lower lip trembled, and she gave him an absolutely tearful look. Victor pulled back the covers, glad that he'd started wearing boxers to bed. "It was just a bad dream."
Molly crawled in next to him, burring her face in Victor's chest. He tried to tell her that this was the last time she was sleeping there. He tried to tell her she was a big girl, and had to learn to handle nightmares on her own.
He failed miserably.
"I am such a pushover," he muttered to himself as he stroked Molly's hair.
