If I take the chocolate, it’s like I’m accepting him, Jessica told herself. But they were good chocolates; Uncle Ben had bought Aunt May a box of the same brand every year for their anniversary. Aunt May had occasionally shared a piece with h- with Peter. They’d been wonderfully rich and decadent. And Johnny Storm was offering a huge box of chocolates. “Um. I can’t.”
“Allergic to chocolates?”
“No. But I can’t take these. Sorry.”
