dorksidefiker
Fandom: Young Avengers
Table/Prompt: Table 2/20. Full
Character/Pairing: Billy/Teddy
Rating: PG
Word Count: 230
Summary: By Billy’s reasoning, if super-villains are going to crash his wedding, then they should crash a big event.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I own nothing. Written for Pride Day and New York not being stupid.
“We could hire a wedding planner,” Teddy said, watching Billy glare at the little model of the banquet hall they were renting. There were names written on each of the little chairs, dozens of them arranged around little tables, filling the hall. All those chairs already placed, and there were still easily a dozen more that hadn’t been placed yet. “They take care of this kind of thing.”
“I can do this,” Billy said firmly.
Teddy picked up one of the chairs, holding it between his fingers. “Remember when we were gonna have a small wedding?” he teased.
“Remember when we tried to elope?” Billy countered. “And the Wrecking Crew attacked City Hall before we got to the front of the line?” He took the chair from Teddy. “If our wedding’s gonna be crashed by super-villains, then lets have an event.”
“You are so weird, Billy.” He kissed the side of Billy’s head. “Wouldn’t have it any other way,” he added.
“Of course not. I’d be boring otherwise. We need a bigger hall.”
