Victor whimpered and clutched the sheets tightly. “Oh God…”
Paras dug his elbow into the middle of Victor’s shoulder blades and sucked on his teeth. “The new arm is really doing a number on your back.” He moved, straddling Victor’s waist, and slid his hands across the reptilian boy’s shoulders, studying the twitching of his muscles under the green skin thoughtfully.
“Throws off my balance, too,” Victor said, moaning quietly as Paras went to work on a knot of tense muscle.
Paras clucked his tongue. “Just relax. You’re already doing an excellent job of adjusting, and by the time I’m done with you, you’ll feel much better.”
