Title: Silent Nights
Author:
dorksidefiker
Fandom: Marvel
Characters: Trauma/Pat the Scarlet Spider
Prompt: Table 1/12. Silence
Word Count: 220
Rating: PG
Summary: Terry doesn’t get peace and quiet very often.
Warnings: Slash.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
It was quiet when Terry woke up. Pat was still asleep, snuggling with the pillow in a deep and dreamless sleep, so not even the press of his thoughts disturbed Terry. The black haired man considered the problem presented by the fact that the covers were tangled around Pat’s legs; getting them back without waking Pat would be impossible.
The agile youth stirred, a dream flashing through his mind like a flat stone skipping across the water, disturbing the stillness Terry had been enjoying. As quickly as it had started, it stopped; not a nightmare at least. Carefully, so that he wouldn’t disturbed Pat, he lay back down. Pat rolled over, releasing his grip on the pillow and clinging to Terry instead. Terry remembered once, when there had been three Scarlet Spiders, he’d caught them all asleep, snuggled together like a pile of puppies. He knew that the three had been unnaturally close, and that Pat felt painfully alone and empty without his brothers. Terry pressed a gentle kiss to Pat’s shoulder and closed his eyes, hoping sleep would come.
