“Being slave to your girlfriend the Sugar Queen,” Eli reminded him helpfully, failing to keep a slightly malicious grin off his face and clearly enjoying Tommy’s horror.
“You’re making Valentine’s Day special for the woman you love,” Teddy said, nudging Eli with his elbow.
“At least all you have to do is put on a Spider-Man movie and you’re set. I’ve gotta do dinner and romance and all that crap-”
“And you love giving it to her,” Teddy reminded him, “or else you wouldn’t do this.”
Tommy grumbled and glowered. “I have reservations to make.”
