Summary: Victor's loves tend to leave a mark on him, and Tommy doesn't like it very much.

One of the problems with a speedster’s metabolism was that it was meant that he didn’t sleep as much, objectively, as other people did. He’d sleep for an hour or two, then he’d be up again.
This left him lots of time for thinking about things. Thinking about things wasn’t something he really cared for, but there wasn’t much he could really do at this time of night. Especially not with a broken leg.
Nico still wasn’t speaking to him after their last fight, which had ended up being about Karolina, and Victor was sound asleep beside him, laying on his stomach. Tommy could just barely make out the tattoo that was inked just below his left shoulderblade. It was simple, just a date and three sets of initials. Lots of mutants had tattoos like it, in honor of M-day and the friends they’d lost.
This tattoo was different. The date was actually a few days after M-Day. Tommy knew who the three initials were.
Two teammates and a boyfriend, all lost when a religious fanatic blew up a bus full of children.
To the right of the tattoo was a recent bullet wound, healing nicely. Victor had gotten it protecting Billy from a Deadpool wannabe.
Tommy reached over and traced four long claw marks just under the right side of Victor’s rib cage, a remnant of a boyfriend gone to the dark side. Victor wriggled a bit, and Tommy leaned in and nibbled on his shoulder, leaving little bite marks behind.
