MJ and Johnny marched in to Reed’s lab, both bearing identical expressions of determination as they grabbed the back of Peter’s chair and started wheeling him out.
“Hey!”
“We know this mad science thing gets you hard,” Johnny said, looking at MJ, then at Peter, “but we leave you too long with Reed and next thing you know, you’ll be growing extra arms and stuff.”
“You are so crude,” MJ snorted, laughing. “We’re going to the mall to hang out. You,” she added, jabbing a finger at Peter’s chest, “are going to buy me something.”
“She’s been feeling ignored,” Johnny explained helpfully. “And so have I.”
