fullmetal_cute
Fandom: Marvel
Table/Prompt: Table 6/8. Never
Character/Pairing: Terry Ward
Rating: PG
Word Count: 181
Summary: His brother looked so happy.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: Me? I don’t own anything.
Terry sat in the car outside his little brother’s middle school, the engine idling as he looked out the heavily tinted windows, watching the tidal wave of kids rushing out. He just barely caught sight of Billy walking to some red-headed boy Terry didn’t recognize. Billy stopped, raising a hand to wave, and Terry almost waved back, even though he knew Billy couldn’t see him through the tinted windows.
He looked so happy.
Terry watched as Billy waded his way to their father’s car with the red head in tow. They were soon joined by another kid with purple hair.
His father was smiling as he shepherded the kids into the car, which was new since Terry had left for Camp Hammond .
Terry couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen his father smile.
Without a word or another glance back, he drove away.
