Summary: In which the boys play with something considerably more powerful than matches.
Authors Notes/Disclaimer: I don’t own a thing, and you know perfectly well.
“Automatic fire extinguishers in the walls,” Chase noted, sucking on his teeth. “Nice.” He looked at the charred lump that used to be an end table (which had pinned Karolina to the wall when she’d gotten too close to it). Xavin poked the charred remains cautiously, causing it to collapse with a little groan. Victor clucked his tongue and hauled in the arm chair that had tried to eat Klara.
“Okay guys, let’s kill it with fire,” Chase said with entirely too much enthusiasm. The chair soon exploded in a fireball, and it started to scream as an oily cloud of smoke rolls over the trio.
“It is supposed to make that kind of noise?” Xavin asked.
“I feel kind of like I’m betraying one of my own,” Victor admitted as the chair continued to scream, despite the rain of flame retardant foam coming from the walls.
