Author's Notes: I own nothing.
Victor didn’t say anything as he helped Billy load his things into the back of the rented moving van. He had the distinct feeling that if he said anything, he would end up lodging his foot firmly in his mouth, anyway. A shadow passed overhead, and Victor looked up to see Teddy flying away.
“You are seriously tense, you know that?” Billy asked.
“Well, I’m afraid Teddy’s going to swoop down and rip my head off. I think that’s a perfectly reasonable fear.”
Billy laughed. “Don’t be a drama queen. Teddy and I both agreed about this, and he’s not that big of a jerk.”
“Love has been known to make people do really stupid things,” Victor pointed out.
“Like spend three years in another dimension when you could have gotten out because you refused to leave someone behind?”
“Something like that.”
