Radu very carefully put the horse thief down. The man collapsed into a pile of terrified man, and the shaggy haired cowboy picked up his own hat, dusted it off, and set it back on his head. "I'm stronger than I look, Sheriff Brand."
2. cyberpunk:
Bova reached around and yanked the plug free from the port in his back. "I told you!" he said. "I told you all that this was a bad idea, but noooo, we had to go play the shiny new VR game. Well look where it got us!"
"Just shut up and help me reboot Davenport, alright?" Catalina asked.
3. furries:
"Not my fault!" Rosie announced. "Not my fault this time!"
Harlan's ears twitched, golden eyes narrowed as he turned to face Rosie. His nose twitched, and his tail lashed back and forth. "I can smell it on you, Rosie," he said, though the words were slurred by the insane amount of new, sharp teeth crammed into his jaw.

"Why do I have to be the wench?" Radu demanded, looking at his reflection in the warped, cracked mirror with no small amount of horror.
"Because you're small and pretty," Harlan replied, loading his pistol. "Dressed as you are, they will easily mistake you for a girl, thus allowing me to get the drop on them, take the map, and find the treasure. See?"

Radu flopped down on his bunk, grabbed his noise canceling earphones, and hoped for just one peaceful night.
6. born another gender:
Haighlee Brand put her hands on her hips and looked the Andromidan up and down. Finally, she sniffed, adjusted her bust to give her a bit more cleavage peeking through her uniform, and flounced away. Radu looked down at her own rather flat chest, then looked back up. She wondered how best to explain that her people were egg layers, and didn't breast feed like mammals did.
"Don't worry," Kat said. "I still think you're pretty."
7. schoolfic:
Radu looked at the bed on the opposite side of the dorm. Harlan was sprawled there, playing a PSP and ignoring Radu. Honestly, the exchange student wasn't sure if he preferred the ignoring to the constant needling.
8. urban fantasy:
"I hate elves!" Harlan snapped, whirling on Radu with his fists balled at his side. The slight blonde flinched back from the human, and Rosie swiftly stepped between then.
"We don't like you very much either," Radu murmured, too low for anyone but Rosie to hear.
9. harem:
"I like it here," Bova said. "She feeds me, she doesn't ask me to do anything dangerous, and I can sleep as much as I want. I think I'm staying."
"No you're not," Harlan insisted. "Now help me with this bedsheet ladder."
10. A:tlA crossover/Fusion:
Harlan looked at Rosie as if she'd grown a second head, raising a shaking hand to point at Radu. "He. Is. A. Fire. Bender." he said slowly, as if explaining the concept to someone who was being particularly slow.
"He's nice," Rosie replied.
"Fire bender!"
"Yes? And we need one. Yay, problem solved!"

#10: All Grown Up.
"I was never like that!" Harlan insisted. This did nothing but earn him amused looks from the rest of the Christa's crew. All except Radu, who kept his eyes firmly on his console, hair falling around his face to better hide his grin. "I wasn't."
"Harlan, you still are," Catalina sighed, turning off the old recording. "If we're done with this little trip down memory lane...?"
"Radu, you're with me, right?"
The only answer Harlan got was a muffled chuckle.
